Riverside and San Bernardino Counties have opened a new Hunger Resource Center
The mission is to combat hunger by providing food access, emergency relief, education, and advocacy to families. This facility includes a learning center, and a community center with a grocery store-like option, The Fresh Start Pantry by Goodman.
RCOE Community Resources Guide (PDF) is a compilation of community agencies and referral sources to help the students and families understand and navigate the local resources available to them.
RCOE Resource Guide was developed specifically to help families find food resources, financial assistance, health resources and mental health crisis/emergency services during COVID-19.
211 works a bit like 911. Calls to 211 are routed by the local telephone company to a local or regional calling center. The 211 center’s referral specialists receive requests from callers, access databases of resources available from private and public health and human service agencies, match the callers’ needs to available resources, and link or refer them directly to an agency or organization that can help.
The Call Center for Riverside and San Bernardino Counties is run by Inland SoCal United Way.
