MHS Choirs Mission Statement
The mission of the Mishawaka High School Choirs is to develop musical skills and expression through music reading skills and vocal technique.
Congratulations to all of the 2022-2023 Mishawaka High School singers, who performed at the Indiana State School Music Association Organizational Festival on April 20 at Concord High School. Each choir performed three prepared selections and were adjudicated by a panel of three judges, then did sight-singing exercises for a different adjudicator, and all were well prepared and performed very well. The "eyeball/football" indicates the sight-singing rating. They have much of which to be proud!
Concert Choir
The Concert Choir, a non-auditioned group of mostly ninth graders, received a Silver Rating overall in Group III, with a Gold Rating in sight singing.
Treble Choir
The Treble Choir, an auditioned group of treble voices in grades 10-12, received a Gold Rating overall in Group II, with a Gold Rating in sight singing.
Chamber Choir
The Chamber Choir, an auditioned mixed-voice ensemble grades 10-12, received a Gold Rating overall in Group II, with a Gold Rating in sight singing.
