In order for educators to remain aware and knowledgeable of cutting edge technologies and trends, frequent professional development is essential. Recently, Mr. Conely participated in a National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) Grant. This program facilitated by UT Arlington's Civil Engineering Department, allowed him to create a host of new activities for learners that will be implemented throughout the Film, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, and STEM Careers courses he instructs.
