• TCEA (Texas Computer Education Association) - attended and presented at conference in February

• TLA (Texas Library Association) - will attend and present at conference in April

• ESC 11 trainings - attended and  presented  at the Canvas Conference in June 2022, also attends monthly ESC 11 meetings via Zoom

Analyzes data to make library program decisions 

• I create and analyze our library usage statistics at the end of every 6 weeks which includes books checked out, database hits, number of students using the library, number of classes coming to the library, and other meetings/trainings/testing done in the library.  From this data, I map out the next 6 weeks and what needs to be done.

Has a mission, vision, goals, objectives and a strategic plan to guide the library program

Promotes library activities 

• Monthly calendars - posts on Canvas, library website, FB, Twitter, Instagram, principal’s newsletter

• Morning announcements

• Library Canvas Course & Book Club Canvas Course

Protects intellectual freedom 

• Still in the process of collecting books and digital resources from varying viewpoints.  See this year’s collection report.

• Will follow the district’s Challenged Materials Process when a book comes up for review.
