Develops a diverse collection that supports curriculum as well as student choice

• The library orders all books using scholarly book journal reviews, and then takes into consideration the student population to create a collection that is reflective of the needs of our school community.

• In addition, we ask our teachers during PLCs to recommend books for the library to buy in support of their curriculum.

• We also have a Library Book Request survey for students & staff to voice their needs.
  
  

Provides extended learning opportunities by collaborating with outside institutions, authors, speakers, etc. 

• Partnership with TCC Library & Librarians to promote their library services.

• Partnership with Mansfield Public Library - Sora (app that connects our eLibrary to the Mansfield public eLibrary) & we promote Mansfield’s summer reading programs

• Partnership with  First Book - to provide free eBooks to our students through the app Open eBooks

• Partnership with AudioFile - to promote & provide free audiobooks this summer
