Side cutouts are allowed but the majority of torso should be covered. Side cutouts that extend the length of the torso are not allowed. Short dresses cannot be more than six (6) inches above the knee; this includes front, back, and side slits. Dresses with nude mesh used to disguise plunging necklines, side cutouts, etc., must fully cover and conceal those exposed areas.

Note: MHS Administrators on staff at the event will have the authority to deny entrance into prom if inappropriateness is determined. No refunds will be made. Clarification regarding apparel can be pre-approved by Mrs. Dudley, MHS Associate Principal, prior to the event.
Prior to purchasing a ticket, a permission form must be signed by the legal guardian of all guests and returned to the bookkeeper. Students may begin picking up permission forms from the bookkeeper on March 20; note that students must clear outstanding fees with the bookkeeper prior to receiving a permission form. Once the permission form is completed, bring it along with copies of ID (see below) to the bookkeeper’s window with payment to purchase ticket(s).
Every MHS senior attending prom must have their own signed permission form. This means that two seniors attending together will pick up two separate permission forms (an MHS senior cannot be listed as a "date" on a permission form).
$80 each: March 27 - March 31
$90 each: April 3 - April 28
$100 each: May 1 - May 12
Only Mansfield High School seniors may purchase tickets. Seniors who graduated early fall in this category and may purchase tickets. Additionally, foreign Exchange students between the ages of 16-20 years old may purchase a ticket regardless of grade level.
Tickets can be purchased from the Mansfield High School bookkeeper at the dates listed. A signed permission form (see above), copy of photo ID(s), and cleared fines list are required for ticket purchase. All ticket sales are final; there are no refunds or exchanges.
Students on free & reduced lunch may be issued a lower ticket price; to be granted the lower rate, the student must be on the free and reduced lunch list prior to February 1 and the student must ask the bookkeeper for the reduced rate at the time of purchase.
Prom guests are classified as anyone attending who is NOT a Mansfield High School senior. MHS Senior Class of 2023 students may purchase up to two tickets, one for them and one for a guest/date. Dates must be between the ages of 16-20 years old (sophomore to 20 years old) on the day of prom to be allowed a ticket and entrance into prom. Students wishing to bring a younger guest will need approval from Mrs. Miller, MHS Academic Associate Principal, before the guest-change deadline. For all ticket purchases, including guest tickets, a photocopy of valid photo ID (see below) must be attached to the completed Prom Permission Form, or the form will not be accepted. The guest change deadline is May 12; a change in guest or request for guest will not be permitted after this date.
Photo IDs will be required to purchase a prom ticket and check in at prom. When purchasing prom tickets, you will need a photo copy of an accepted photo ID for both the senior and guest (if applicable). Acceptable forms of photo ID include:
