~ DETAILS ON CHECKING IN, PARKING, & BEING DROPPED OFF AT PROM ~
All seniors and prom guests must have their prom ticket and a current photo ID to check in. Acceptable forms of photo ID include a current state-issued ID with date of birth or current school ID with a photo, current school year, and current grade level.
Check in is from 7:30 – 8:30 PM outside the Perot Museum.
Prom begins at 8:00 PM, so guests who arrive prior to this time will be asked to wait in the foyer.
Admittance will not be permitted after 8:30 PM.
Guests are free to leave prom at any time. However, once guests exit the building, they will not be permitted to return.
Guests being dropped off can exit their vehicle outside the museum at Broom Street (marked "RS" on map).
Directions for drop off are:
At the Field Street and Broom Street intersection, head west onto Broom Street (service road to Woodall Rodgers)
On the right hand side, you will see a crosswalk. Pull into the small inlet immediately on the other side of the crosswalk for your car to drop you off.
Head right, and walk up the ramp to the Main Entrance for check in.
Complimentary parking is available in the Special Permit Parking Lot (Lots A, C, and Extended Lot C), located west of the Museum. Entrance to the Special Permit Parking Lot is located on the north side of the building.
Directions for parking are:
Off of Field Street, turn onto River Street (small road between the museum and the apartments to the north) toward the Special Permit Lot.
Press the button at the gate, tell security that you are here for Mansfield Prom, and you will be admitted.
Park in any available space you find in that lot.
Head to the Main Entrance for check in.
