About me

Professional: For the past year I have served as the Assistant Principal at Mountain Peak Elementary in Midlothian ISD. Prior to this, I have had the privilege of being a district RtI Specialist for 5 amazing years in Midlothian ISD and served one year as an Accelerated Instruction Specialists/Administrator Intern. Two out of the five years as an RtI Specialist I had the honor of being the district lead RtI Specialist. Prior to this I served as a special education teacher for 8 years in Mansfield ISD. Throughout these experience and especially my time as an assistant principal I learned to effectively manage multiple campus operations while fostering a positive culture, and pushing the needle forward on growth. I love working with students and teachers to pinpoint areas of need, collaborate to develop strategic plans for improvement, and monitor students progress. I believe strongly that educators should deliver research-based explicit instruction for behavior and academics with embedded technology to enhance our learners experience. I believe in empowering teachers to become leaders and providing them with the tools to adapt to the ever changing educational landscape.

Personal: I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I attended the University of Indianapolis on a softball scholarship. This is where I met my husband and we relocated to North Texas where we've lived happily for 14 years. My husband is also a passionate educator and the head baseball coach for Woodrow Wilson High School. We have a son, Easton, who loves all things baseball and fishing. We also have a daughter, Evie, who loves all things softball and dancing. Our grand finale, is our baby girl Ella, who is an all around miracle and has absolutely stolen our hearts. When we are not at the ball fields, we love to spend time teaching Sunday school at our church and camping around Texas.

Tiffany is driven, focused, and willing to put 100% into creating a better learning environment for students and staff. She is always able to meet you where you are at to problem solve, to encourage you, or to challenge you to grow. Tiffany has a true servants heart with a deep dedicated to education. She is a true assets to our campus and has added value, joy, and structure to Mt. Peak as our Vice Principal.

Tiffany is our Interventionist at Longbranch Elementary School. She works with our students daily to provide what is needed to help them progress. The students love going to her classroom and the instruction they receive is superior. In addition to services, she evaluates any students needed for RtI purposes. Tiffany also works well with our teachers and goes above and beyond to help them with their intervention instruction and data collections. She has created presentations to help the teachers. Tiffany leads our RtI meetings for all grade levels. I have never seen a teacher work as hard as Tiffany does in her role. She is definitely a huge asset to our school.

I was given the privilege to update the Midlothian community on the requirements of HB4545 and personalized learning instructional practices and policies of our district.

20-21 MEF Grant Recipient: I wrote and received a $4,000 grant to fund a set of drones for our campus to use to engage student in innovative, hands-on learning. I have a passion for helping campuses allocate resources they can use to enhance the learner experience and inspire students to explore innovative learning opportunities.
