Questions I have been frequently asked:
Q: Why are you making this?
A: Mostly I am making this whole thing for fun. I used to play a Minecraft world with a few of my friends named Meteor Town (the inspiration for one of the Ironcliff cities) and the whole idea was that it is a functional city where you could build whatever you wanted, but every few days there would be a new meteor crash sight. Then, I played Red Dead Redemption II, and that inspired me for the 1800's theme. I was obsessed with the idea of having a world where everything was older, so like old general stores and harbors and wooden wagons. Then, a few years ago my friend Kaz and I went to a cabin, and we built a dock and called it Grand Harbor. This then set off a huge spark in my mind. From that point on I had always had this idea brewing in my mind. A large port city with big companies set in the 1800's is what I wanted to do. I then started making Minecraft worlds testing out the ideas I had, and then I moved on to a game called Plane Crazy, where I could build vehicles and machines. This all started with the GHOC, until recently when I had designed and created new companies, the country of Ironcliff, and now, this website.
TL;DR: I played video games and came up with this idea.
Q: Is Ironcliff a country or a state?
A: Ironcliff is a country with the name 'The State of Ironcliff.' I know it's confusing, but that is just what I came up with. It was originally going to be a smaller state in a larger country, but I had figured since it is so industrialized and had such a large economy, I should just turn it into a country. I also already created the link to this website and I don't feel like rebranding everything.
Q: What games do you use to create the vehicles and cities?
A: I use Minecraft for the cities primarily, and I use a game on Roblox called Plane Crazy.
Q: How long have you been writing/creating this story for?
A: This is my 5th year writing and coming up with things for the Grand Harbor story.
