“They will use pastels to create depth, texture, and space within their composition. Children will use their creative mind to come up with a mountain range of their liking. This will show children that creativity is in the eyes of the beholder and their end product is special to the individual who came up with it. This lesson plan shows students that mountain ranges may look different. Using different colored pastels, the students will create images that are subject to their own way of thinking.”
