The MiraCosta Service Learning & Volunteer Center welcomes the Pre-K through 8th grade community & their loved ones, fellow MiraCosta staff & faculty, and Community Partners to our Virtual STREAM Festival website.
A message from the Service Learning & Volunteer Center Staff
Although we are saddened that we cannot host our yearly STREAM Festival on our beautiful MiraCosta College campus, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to welcome you to this virtual space!

Project LIKE (Literacy Is Knowledge Empowerment)
Project LIKE (Literacy Is Knowledge Empowerment) was founded by MiraCosta Professor, Edwina Williams and was established in "2016 to provide youth from disproportionately impacted populations with access to free global literacy resources and support. " - Project LIKE website
Project LIKE currently connects MiraCosta College, Palomar College, and CSUSM students to volunteer opportunities in the following positions: STREAM Mentors, Literacy Leaders, Athlete Mentors, and Tech Leaders.

San Diego County Remake Learning Days
Remake Learning Days Across America (RLDAA) is a celebration of innovative experiences and opportunities for youth to develop their sense of creativity, perseverance and curiosity.
Remake Learning Days is a festival of events hosted by a variety of organizations, such as schools, museums, libraries, after school organizations, early child care centers, universities, media centers, tech startups and more.
