• Payments can be made by cash or RevTrak

Itinerary: 

Students will need to be on time to school and report to their Homeroom. They will be dismissed at 9:00 AM to report to the cafeteria. Students are ONLY allowed to bring a lanyard to hold their phones and tickets in the parks. It is recommended to leave backpacks at home that day. Students must be in attendance for all testing dates. These times are estimated, we will send out a final agenda as we get closer to date. 

9:00 AM- Students will be dismissed from their classroom through the PA system and report to the Cafeteria 

10:00 AM – Buses depart from Minneola Charter School 

12:30 AM – Leave Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios 

1:00 AM – Arrive back to MCS for Parent Pick Up

New this year:

This year we have decided to take the 8th graders to the park all day, please send your child with money to have lunch. Our meal vouchers do not become active until 4:00pm. They may also bring extra money for snacks and souvenirs, the cup for gradventure should be activated all day for drinks.  They will be required to be responsible for all their personal items they bring with them.

Behavior Requirements to Attend: Start date Jan 4th 2024

 Students will NOT be allowed to attend the field trip due to: two or more dean referrals, two or more in-school suspension days, or a referral which results in out of school suspension (2nd Semester Only). Detentions (5) or more. No refunds will be given after the school purchases the tickets. Administration reserves the right to revoke field trip privileges and deny refunds. Students must ride to and from the event on school-provided buses. Parents are not able to pick up their child directly from the park, no exceptions. 

Dress Code: 

Students are expected to wear the 8th grade field trip shirt provided with the cost of the field trip the entire day of the trip (included time in school). Shirts are NOT allowed to be modified in any way (i.e. cut, dyed, ripped). Students will not be permitted to change clothes prior to departure.

Meal Voucher: 

Complimentary meal voucher is included with every admission at participating dining locations. Gradventure Meal Vouchers are like cash; do not lose them. Meal Vouchers MUST be redeemed the day of the event.

Grade Expectations: 

Students need to be passing all classes in order to attend this trip.
