Planning for Transition - A Lunchtime Conversation for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Families
Learn about all the pieces of transition to adulthood for teens with disabilities, including adult long-term support programs, employment, SSI benefits, and how youth can build a life in the community.
The September session will focus on the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC).
We will talk about:
• The ADRC’s Youth Transitions Program and how it can help MPS families.
• How to apply for Family Care and IRIS.
Lakisha LaGrant Heart, ADRC Youth Transition Supervisor, will be our presenter and can answer your questions and share resources.
