World-Wide Conflicts:  2000 through Today

This semester course is offered to students who have completed Modern World Cultures.  Students closely examine selected conflicts that influence global political, economic and social facets of our world. Topics will include (but are not limited to) a study of the Middle East, the war in Ukraine, and the relationship between China and Taiwan.   Students will engage in research and analysis, and the focus of teaching will be on both content and historical thinking skills.
