Dive into the world of robotics with this semester elective course! Build, program, and innovate with robotics to tackle real-world challenges. Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of robotics, including modeling, design, planning, and control through hands-on building and testing with multiple robotic kits. In the process, students will increase their computer programming knowledge through the use of a variety of software programs. Students will leave the course with an introduction to programming, a portfolio, mechanical build skills, and a more aware knowledge of careers in robotics.
Students enrolled in this course do not need any previous programming experience and, upon successful completion, can apply the credits toward satisfying the Technology graduation requirements.
