SeeSaw
Seesaw allows teachers and students to record & share what's happening in their class, whether virtual or in-person!
Students can document their learning through the easy creation of videos, drawings & notes; all with audio annotation.
A rich library of ready-made activities is available for teachers to choose from & assign to their students. SeeSaw activities can be assigned in Google Classroom. Info on how is listed below.
1. Watch this quick overview of SeeSaw use in Anne Valluzzi's classroom & check out the Teacher Training slideshow for great examples of student projects & work.
Anne is a SeeSaw Ambassador and has graciously offered to help other teachers get started!
On the far right is.a document with shortcuts to embed SeeSaw icons in your instructions.
2. Setting Up A SeeSaw Class
SeeSaw has a free & paid version.
The district has purchased a paid subscription for PK-G2 and rostered those teachers and students. PK-2 does NOT NEED TO Create or Roster their SeeSaw Class. Simply log in with your Google account.
The free version is quite robust and useful, but you will need to create & roster your own classes. If you have already set up a Google Classroom, you can roster your students - choose that option when you create your class.
You'll see PD resources for both versions below.
