What if I lost my Chromebook?

Come to A143 ASAP.  We can help find Chromebooks if they are still charged and in the school.  We can also tell you if you left your Chromebook somewhere outside of school.

Tip
Never leave your Chromebook unattended.  Think of your Chromebook as a $20 bill.  Would you leave it in a classroom unattended?

What if I broke my Chromebook?

Accidents happen.  We can fix most problems with Chromebooks.  Email us at chromebooks@millburyschools.org, or stop by A143 during the day.  We will either assign you a new device or give you a loaner while we fix yours. 

Tip
Accidents happen.  We can fix all accidental damage in a couple of days.  If the damage is not accidental or intentional, we will need to talk about how and why the damage occurred.  Students are responsible for intentional damage done to a Chromebook.

What if I lost my charger?

If you lost your charger, you can replace it on Amazon or purchase a new charger from Technology Services.

Tip
When you graduate, or if you leave the Millbury public schools, you will need to return your Chromebook, and charger, even if you have replaced it on your own.

Can I put stickers on my Chromebook?

No, but you can put decals on your Chromebook.  What's the difference between decals and stickers?  Decals come off clean; stickers always come off in pieces and leave a sticky residue behind.  

Tip
Decals are a great way for you and others to identify your device.  Devices that have some identifying make on them are harder to lose.  

Don't remove the decal with your name on it.
