RUMUN

Rutgers Model United Nations is one of the largest and most well-regarded MUN conferences in the United States. The flagship program of the Institute for Domestic & International Affairs, Inc., started empowering students in 1992 when a group of students from Rutgers University sought to establish an international studies program at the university.  Initially founded at Brett Hall on Rutgers’ historic College Avenue campus, RUMUN has grown dramatically in size, bringing more than 40,000 students together to discuss and address global issues.

When?

Rutgers Model United Nations 2023 will take place from November 16-19, 2023.

Where?

RUMUN 2023 will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in historic New Brunswick, New Jersey. Students attending the conference will stay either at the Hyatt or the nearby Heldrich, which is a short walk away

Logistics
The admission fee per student is $115.00, and for students requiring accommodations (lodging), there is an additional $220.00 per student hotel fee, totaling $335.00. All final registration fees must be paid by a specified date on IDIA.net, and no refunds are provided after that date unless the conference goes virtual. Schools dropping out after the specified date may incur additional fees.
