My name is Meghan Pstragowski, and I'm so excited to be your child's third grade teacher this year! This is my first year teaching at Heron Pond, but I previously taught first grade at Jacques Memorial School. Having grown up in Milford, it’s especially meaningful to now be teaching in the same town where I was once a student.
I hold a Master’s degree in Reading Instruction (K-12) from American International College and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from Keene State College. This year marks my twentieth year in education, during which I've had the privilege of serving as both a classroom teacher and a math & literacy interventionist for students in grades K-6.
My goal as an educator is to create a learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and are encouraged to take risks, learn through hands-on experiences, and—most importantly—have fun!
I currently reside in Amherst, NH with my husband, Stephen, and our two children, Nolan and Ella. Nolan will in first grade this year, and Ella will be attending preschool at the Early Learning Center in Milford.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the beach or lake with my children, walking my dogs, and relaxing with a good book.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to help your child learn and grow this year. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or ideas about how I can support your child. I can be reached by phone during the school day and by email at your convenience. I look forward to building a positive partnership with you as your child embarks on their third grade journey.
