My name is Meghan Pstragowski, and I'm so excited to be your child's third grade teacher this year! This is my second year teaching at Heron Pond, but I previously taught first grade at Jacques Memorial School. Having grown up in Milford, it’s especially meaningful to now be teaching in the same town where I was once a student.
I hold a Master’s degree in Reading Instruction (K-12) from American International College and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-8) from Keene State College. This year marks my 21st year in education, during which I've had the privilege of serving as both a classroom teacher and a math & literacy interventionist for students in grades K-6.
My goal as an educator is to create a learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and are encouraged to take risks, learn through hands-on experiences, and—most importantly—have fun!
I currently reside in Amherst, NH with my husband, Stephen, and our two children, Nolan and Ella. Nolan will in second grade this year, and Ella will be attending Pre-K at the Early Learning Center in Milford.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the beach or lake with my children, walking my dogs, and relaxing with a good book.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to help your child learn and grow this year. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or ideas about how I can support your child. I can be reached by phone during the school day and by email at your convenience. I look forward to building a positive partnership with you as your child embarks on their third grade journey.
