211- What Do You Need Help With? 2-1-1 is a free, confidential information & referral service that connects people to essential health and human services 24 hours a day, seven days a week online and over the phone.
For the most up-to-date information from the State of Connecticut on COVID-19,
residents are encouraged to visit ct.gov/coronavirus.

CT Paid Leave
The Paid Family and Medical Leave Act (PFMLA) offers Connecticut workers the opportunity to take time to attend to personal and family health needs without worrying about lost income. The CT Paid Leave Authority provides Connecticut’s workforce access to paid family and medical leave benefits by offering helpful tools and resources to help administer this new program.
Call 2-1-1 for Available Cooling Centers over the Weekend
If you’ve been watching the news for the past few days, we are expecting the next few days to be brutally hot. If you (or an elderly relative or friend or neighbor) need to find a place to get cool, the answer is quickly accessible by dialing 2-1-1.
Sparkler is a free app sponsored by the Connecticut State Office of Early Childhood Education. Sparkler sparks healthy early development for children ( ages 0-5) and families in Connecticut.
This summer SPARKLER is providing a free virtual summer camp for families.
Parents are strongly encouraged to sign up for SPARKLER and to utilize the app during the summer months by participating in the Camp Sparkler activities.
CAMP SPARKLER is an Eight-week virtual camp starting on July 3, 2023
Families can participate through :
Stories: Weekly folktale told by a storyteller from the culture where the story originated
Play: Weekly learning activities for parents/caregivers and children to play together, inspired by the story of the week
For Toddlers & Littles: Camp Sparkler is for parents/caregivers and children (1.5 years old through age 5).

It’s time to explore! From July 1 to September 4, Connecticut children age 18 and under plus one accompanying Connecticut resident adult can visit participating museums free of charge through the Connecticut Summer at the Museum program. Before you visit, check each participant’s website for specific program details and ticket availability.
