BATTLE of the BOOKS - GOOGLE FORM
Please fill out this Google form with your team members. You can have three to four members on each team and they must all be on the same color team. You should all have the same ELA teacher. Each member is responsible for reading at least two books.
Exciting news! The Sixth Grade Book Club will meet every Tuesday during lunch in the Media Center. Battle of the Books will be in May! Check out this page for more information about Battle of the Books.
Book Clubs are a fantastic way to explore new stories, share your thoughts, and make new friends who love reading just as much as you do. Each month, we'll select a new book from our Battle of the Books list.
Battle of the Books is where the real excitement begins! Teams will compete in a fun and fast-paced trivia challenge based on the books we've read. It's a chance to show off your reading skills, work together with your teammates, and win awesome prizes. You can check the Battle of the Books out separately or read them with our book club.
If you're interested in joining our book club please fill out the Google Form. If just want to read the Battle of the Books on your own and not participate in the book club then you need to select that on the Google Form.
I will email all students who will be participating in our book clubs when I am ready to begin. Happy Reading, Mrs. Caggiano:)

Seven students, one amazing teacher, and the school year that changes their lives.
It’s the start of fifth grade for seven kids at Snow Hill School. There’s . . . Jessica, the new girl, smart and perceptive, who’s having a hard time fitting in; Alexia, a bully, your friend one second, your enemy the next; Peter, class prankster and troublemaker; Luke, the brain; Danielle, who never stands up for herself; shy Anna, whose home situation makes her an outcast; and Jeffrey, who hates school.
Only Mr. Terupt, their new and energetic teacher, seems to know how to deal with them all. He makes the classroom a fun place, even if he doesn’t let them get away with much . . . until the snowy winter day when an accident changes everything—and everyone.
