My child wants to change music classes... What do I do? Switching music classes is a big decision that should be discussed with parents, students, and your child's music teacher. We want to make sure every student is in the best music class for them! We also understand the difficulty of choosing only one music class. Reach out to the music staff with any concerns and we can set up a conference!
What happens if my musician misses a concert? Concerts are where all of our hard work really pays off! For all grades and ensembles concert attendance is a requirement. (Even for General Music, non-performers must attend Eaststock as an audience member.) While not ideal, we totally understand if situations arise in which a concert needs to be missed. Check with your child's music teacher for specific class policies regarding concert makeup assignments and missed performances.
