Before an individual is eligible to enter a college-level credit-bearing course in the state of Texas, they must demonstrate academic readiness. One method of doing this is the TSIA, which is developed by College Board, just like the SAT and PSAT.
This rule also applies for students wishing to enroll in Dual Credit courses while enrolled as a student at Milano High School. More information on the TSIA can be found at this site: https://accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students/prepare-for-accuplacer/tsia-texas-success-initiative-assessment
