Emily Tam

Emily is a U2 undergraduate student studying Neuroscience and Computer Science at McGill University. Before joining the LiNC Lab, she worked at the Seguin Lab at Western University and the Polychronakos Lab at the McGill University Health Centre.

Currently, she is working on a research project exploring the role of Dale’s Law in artificial neural networks. Ultimately, the goal of this work is to uncover network principles for the design of better AI and to further our understanding of biological networks. It is work like this, at the intersection of neuroscience and artificial intelligence, that she is particularly interested in pursuing in her future career.
