It's important to properly define your setup requirements before sourcing the parts:
1. Environmental conditions and 2. Spatial Resolution
1. Environmental Conditions
The sensor has the ability to monitor multiple environmental conditions all at once: Temperature, Relative Humidity, CO2 level and Light Intensity.
Select which one is needed to know which type of sensors to purchase.
Temperature & Humidity - BME280, or BME680
CO2 level - CSS811
Light Intensity - VEMLL7700
It's possible to use different sensors than those proposed. However, the software must be adapted in this case. Contact the team for more information.
2. Spatial Resolution
It's important to have more than one point of data within a cultivation room (e.g., greenhouse, experiment setup, vertical farm) as spatial variability of the environmental conditions is inevitable.
Defining what spatial resolution is needed for your situation allows you to know how many units you need and to purchase the material accordingly.
