Handy tips for planning the best event
How many clean glasses will you need?
Count on having two glasses per guest, per hour.
How many bartenders do you need?
Depends on the type of event!
For more casual events, hire one for
every 75 to 100 guests.
For more upscale events, hire one for
every 40 to 60 guests.
You will need one cocktail server for
every 50 guests, on average.
Frequently asked questions:
How much will it cost me?
It depends! Service cost has several factors:
guest count, number of cocktails on the menu,
type of cocktails (such as pre-made or handcrafted),
location of event, desired hours of service, etc.
Do you buy the alcohol or do I?
Either! The host can purchase the spirits or
have us do it. We have a partnership with
Club Beverage House, a liquor store
in Forsyth County, that allows us to
get better prices in larger quantities.
Do I get to keep the leftover alcohol
if Mikey's Mobile Bar makes the purchase?
Yes! All the remaining spirits and ingredients
are yours. In fact, we do an inventory run down
with you at the end of the evening to show what
was used and what's left to keep.
Would you help with menu ideas?
Yes! To help you make a decision, we will send you
a detailed email with cocktail names and ingredients,
once you tell us what type of spirits you want to consume.
If I have already selected cocktails,
would you help me with
ingredients and quantities?
Yes! After you book the date, we'll provide all the
information you need if you wish to make the
purchase on your own.
What if I want less than five hours
of service?
We can discuss the cocktails you want to serve
and determine if we can adapt to your needs.
Just keep in mind that the travel rate and cost
of service will not change.
How long in advance should I book?
For optimal service, we recommend up to 6 months
in advance, especially when booking one of our
bar packages. We have few bartenders on the
schedule, so if you have a bartender in mind,
we recommend you book as soon as possible to
guarantee their availability.
What happens if the hours I booked
are finished, but I want to continue
my service?
To allow you the opportunity to continue the
service, the bartender hosting your event will
ask you an hour before service ends if you wish
to continue with service. If you choose to
continue, you are responsible for getting more
spirits, ingredients, or mixers if needed for the
added time period. The maximum added time
we allow after your scheduled hours is a period
of two extra hours. To continue the service,
the host will have to pay an hourly rate between
$30-$60 depending on the cocktails being served.
This payment must be made before service is
continued. Payment will be made directly to the
company, and you will receive a payment confirmation
provided by manager/ owner Mikey Medina.
Payment forms:
Zelle: Mikey@mikeysmobilebar.rsvp
Venmo: Mikey911bar
Cashapp:$Mikeysbar911
Debit or credit card will have an additional 3% fee
What if I want to add more cocktails to
the menu, but we’ve already established
a service price?
Our main goal is to provide excellent service. If you
wish to add 1 or 2 cocktails to the bar menu, the
price per hour will increase by $10-15. If you're
adding more than 3 cocktails, we will advise you
to hire another bartender to help lower the cost
and optimize service.
What if I want to reduce the cocktail
for the menu?
Our bar service covers a standard of 4 cocktails.
You can choose to serve fewer, but even if it's only 1,
the service cost will remain the same.
