Unplug & Play
Tabletop Games
On two evenings and one Saturday each month, the library invites patrons to unplug from technology and join others to play tabletop games at the library. Participants are invited to bring games from home to share, or they can check out one of the library's 150+ circulating games (shelved downstairs) to bring upstairs. We also have a collection of 100+ games reserved just for Unplug & Play use. For details, click Game Collection at the top of this page.
WHO: Ages 8 and up
WHAT: Tabletop board games and card games
WHEN: 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 5pm-8pm and the 2nd Saturday from 10am-3pm

CNY TABLETOP GAMES SOCIETY
Unplug & Play participants formed CNYTGS in 2014 in order to organize additional board gaming "meetups" at other libraries in the area. Since then, more than 500 people have signed up to receive meeting announcements. Participants often connect on social media before Unplug & Play and other sessions to say what games they are bringing or what they are hoping to play.
