This summer we became beekeepers, with 2 hives on our 1/2 acre 20 minutes from Detroit. Together we learn and experience the possibilities nature offers us through plants and the bees. It has been a wonderful bonding experience as well.
Together we raise 16 rescue animals and share a love for serving our community without an agenda.
We share a dream to have a 10 acre farm where we can raise our animals and grow our food, while learning how to collaborate with other self sustaining communities.
I love a good adventure in the depths of nature! Finding peace within places I have never been is a special way to be present and I find it is the most rewarding when I do it with my husband and best friend.

I truly indulge myself in the life of my 9 year old daughter. She gives me a new, clearer lens to view life through. She is my lead adventurer and together we live through exciting daydreams of how we want to change the world, or atleast improve it. I find myself always interested in what she will come up with next! We love to clean the parks together, it's a special kind of passion she has had since 3! She is a little cheerleader!

I live a simple life, with conservative taste and preference. I simply live to find the moments that make my heart melt and my eyes swell from extreme happiness.

Not to be confused with perfection, I proudly secure my role and myself through dedicated therapy. It is the most proud task I work within regularly. It is something that I enjoy and something I know makes me experience life as freely as I am able and it brings me a great deal of pride. I know that duality is what truly brings the best in life to the surface.

I enjoy private meditations and yoga at home with a community yogi, Adrienne. Both allow me to access tools that I can share with others that I meet. My favorite meditation is nighttime dancing with my LED hula hoop and great ambient music.

I am building my herbalist dream and work a little each day on my personal apothecary in our cellar. I have found such a comfort in connection with plants and how they are also medicines. I find solace in this natural instinct and find myself engulfed in wanting to explore the world around me even when its not the most convenient time.

I spend my personal free time, on my two nonprofit initiatives: The Valor Den and Courageous Kitchens, where I work with families within the community that are in need. In 2019, I legalized these programs to support my desires to help the families around me that struggle to access the services or support they need in desperate time. The Valor Den is a resource program funded through community donations that connects people with items they need from hygiene, shoes, to furniture. Courageous Kitchen is a volunteer based program that supplies cooked meals and fresh produce to families in need. It also teaches families how to cook, shop, meal plan and more, assisting their path to self sufficiency.
