Connect with a preceptor to begin phase 2 (requires the completion of personal goal #1)
Complete my Phase 1 birth observations before the Summer 2025 term
Complete all Phase 1 requirements before the Fall 2025 term
Step into Phase 2 clinical work by the Fall 2025 term
Complete my NRP certification before Fall 2025
Maintain a 3.5+ GPA
Build closer relationships within my local birth community

Personal Goals:

Decide if I would like to remain in Palm Springs, California for my preceptorship or relocate
Find a way to move my body that actually brings me joy (and stick with it!)
Build up my preceptorship savings fund
Visit my best friend in Hong Kong in 2025
Plan an international trip with my sister
Prioritize a more whole diet with fewer animal products
Make time for unplugged moments in nature
Spend more screen-free time with my family and friends
Step out of my comfort zone and build new friendships in my local community

The undergraduate program aims to prepare students to practice at the full scope of the Certified Professional Midwife credential through the demonstration of broad, integrative, and specialized knowledge.

The undergraduate program aims to prepare students to practice within their own communities and synthesize applied and collaborative learning. Students will engage in the maternity care system professionally and ethically at all times.

A midwife of personal greatness

The undergraduate program aims to prepare students for reflective practice and a perpetual commitment to contribute to the professionalization of direct-entry midwifery.
The undergraduate program aims to prepare graduates to educate others in their profession and in their communities.
