Feel free to call or email me anytime to set up a phone conference or in-person meeting about your child. Your child’s teacher has a referral form for them or your student to fill out anytime they need to see me. You or your child can also visit the schedule an appointment button or the counseling referral form to the left  to send in an online referral. Referrals will be checked on the day the are submitted with the child.

What is shared with Ms. Stolte is kept confidential unless someone is hurting you, you want to hurt yourself or someone else, or you give me permission to share with another trusted adult. 

School counselors recognize their primary ethical obligation for confidentiality is to the students but balance that obligation with an understanding of parents/guardians' legal and inherent rights to be the guiding voice in their children's lives. School counselors understand the need to balance students' ethical rights to make choices, their capacity to give consent or assent, and parental or family legal rights and responsibilities to make decisions on their child's behalf. (ASCA Code of Ethics - A.2.g)
