Innovation Meets Excellence in Virtual Learning

Midway ISD will offer Virtual School Options for 6th-12th grade students during the 2026-2027 school year. The virtual school offerings range from Full-Time Virtual Learning (100% online) courses to Hybrid Learning (part-time online/part-time in person) to a la carte online courses.

Full-time enrollment in the Midway Virtual School is free to all Texas residents. If a student resides in Texas and can provide transportation to attend periodic, mandatory state and district testing at our Midway location, they are eligible to enroll in the Full-Time Virtual Learning option.  If a student resides in Texas and in the Midway attendance zone, or is a transfer student into the Midway district, they are eligible for the Hybrid Learning option. The Hybrid Learning option would allow the student the opportunity to participate in select school-based electives and/or UIL extracurricular activities, per UIL/TEA policy. 

If a student wishes to take advantage of the a la carte online courses, whether they are a full-time Midway student or a student in another district, they can do so for a fee per course. 

Please help us plan by completing the form linked below. This is not an official enrollment in the Midway Virtual School; it is simply an interest form. If you are the parent/guardian of multiple children, please fill out a new form for each child.
