Many CTE (Career & Technical Education) courses can be taught 100% online through Midway Virtual School (MVS); however, there are several courses that require either some in-person learning components (hybrid) or full on-campus daily instruction. Below is a comprehensive list of all CTE electives taught in Midway ISD. Though all of these courses will be taught on-campus daily for students who choose traditional schooling, each course is identified for the MVS as either a Virtual course, a Hybrid course, or an On-campus course. Students traveling to the campus for hybrid or in-person learning must have their own transportation.

• Virtual course: offered fully online through MVS; also available to students should they choose to return to in-person learning during the year

• Hybrid course: offered mostly online through MVS; will require some labs/projects/skills be completed in-person several times per grading period outside of the regular school day; also available to students should they choose to return to in-person learning during the year (*If MVS students cannot commit to the in-person requirements for these Hybrid courses, they should choose a new elective with their counselor.)

• On-campus course: requires students to be in-person daily in their assigned class period to receive instruction; will only be offered virtually if all students are moved to temporary at-home instruction (*If MVS students cannot commit to these On-campus courses, they should choose a new elective with their counselor.)
