Potential Researchers

We are pleased to inform you that Midnapore College (Autonomous), in association with the Department of Science & Technology and Biotechnology (DST&BT), Government of West Bengal, is organizing the 7th Regional Science and Technology Congress (2024-25), Region-4 (Comprising districts: Bankura, Jhargram, Paschim Medinipur, Purba Medinipur, Purulia) on 3rd and 4th January, 2025, at the Midnapore College campus.

This two-day event will host over 500 participants, with several Invited Eminent scientists and researchers delivering general and discipline-specific talks across 12 subject areas. 

To foster scientific temper among researchers and students, the Government of West Bengal has extended an opportunity for genuinely interested candidates from various colleges and universities in this region (who are not already registered as presenting authors or co-authors) to attend specific lectures or sessions of their choice.

Interested candidates should either be affiliated to any institution of this region or who permanently resides here.
