Is there is an Exam?
There is no formal assessment in S3 but your teacher will assess the work you produce throughout the year including knowledge checks. This will give you a clear idea of how you are progressing. 
What comes next?
In S4, you can either take Level 4 or Level 5 Skills for Work Early Learning and Childcare, depending on progress in S3.
Both courses are assessed in school through continuous assessment.
Where can this take me?
This course can lead to Level 5 Skills for Work Early Learning and Childcare which is the first stage towards the Midlothian Modern Apprenticeship course.

This course leads to Level 5 Early earning and child care.

This course will also be beneficial for anyone wanting to pursue a career involving children such as teaching, nursing.
