Midland Band

Midland Band Overview

At Midland we currently have band for grades 6-12. Three different bands make up the program: 6th Band, 7/8 Band, and HS Band with approximately 14 students in each ensemble. We have also brought back basketball pep band and plan to play at the football games as well next year (2026). In 2026 we will be starting 5th grade band as well, as the 6th graders are moving down to the elementary.

The instruments available to play in band are flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, alto tenor and baritone saxophone, trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone, euphonium, tuba, percussion (percussion include all the drums, mallets, and extra equipment such as triangle and tambourine)
