Middleton Cardinal Booster Club

Who We Are: The Middleton Cardinal Booster Club (CBC) is a parent-driven organization dedicated to supporting Middleton High School student-athletes both on and off the field. Our board includes representatives from all athletic teams.

Our Members: With a membership of over 1,000 families and growing, the CBC extends beyond Middleton High School, reaching not only the Middleton/Cross-Plains communities, but Dane County and the Big 8 Conference as well.

Each year, the CBC raises over $100,000 to allocate amongst athletic teams that actively participate in CBC meetings and events. CBC funds help to purchase equipment, uniforms, supplies, professional training aids and more. As a parent-volunteer organization, over 95% of the funds we raise go directly back into supporting our successful sports teams.

The CBC is as strong as its volunteers! All teams associated with the CBC can earn money for their programs through Membership and Volunteering.

What Does the Booster Club Do?

The Cardinal Booster Club (CBC) is dedicated to encouraging, promoting, and supporting all recognized education-based athletics and co-curricular activities offered at Middleton High School and the athletes that participate in them. Annual funds raised by the CBC through volunteer efforts, corporate and private sponsorships, CBC memberships, and fundraising events supplement the MHS athletic budget that is established by the MCPASD. This additional funding is necessary to assist teams and players with the equipment, facilities, training aids and various other needs that collectively contribute to the success of our programs. The CBC strives to provide athletes with resources necessary to promote safe and positive experiences that promote the advancement of MHS athletes both on and off the field.

Additionally, the Booster Club manages the Athlete Assistance Fund, which provides financial support to student-athletes who may face financial barriers, helping them access essential equipment to participate fully in their sport.

How Do I Know My Child’s Sport Will Benefit from Membership?

For every athlete whose family is a Booster Club member, we provide $25 to their team every year of the membership. If your child participates in two sports, then both teams receive $25 from the Booster Club. This funding is provided annually as long as you remain a Booster Club member and your child is on a team. Additionally, we offer a bonus of $1,000 if a team reaches predefined membership milestones. For instance, if 75% of the families on your child’s team are Booster Club members, the team would receive $1,000—this is repeated for every team each year. Teams can also earn funds annually by volunteering for Booster Club activities, such as working concessions, participating in fundraising events, or serving on the Booster Club board of directors.
