CHORE BOT

The chore bot is a Google Sheets-based program I have created that assigns weekly household chores to members and sends email reminders until tasks are completed, and can also publicly shame members who don't complete their assigned chores.

It was created using Google app script and the main goal was to automate the chore assignment and notification. Google App Script is a cloud-based scripting language and development platform that allows users to automate tasks and build custom applications within various Google services. The time-driven triggers were really useful to make sure it keeps running every week 

There is also a second message that all the house members will receive at the end of the week Is a summary or weekly recap that exposes those who didn't do the task and give positive feedback to those that completed the task on time. It uses principles of social psychology including: Social Control, Conformity, and Positive reinforcement
