Here's how it works: Attendees simply scan a QR code and fill out a Google form with their name and email. The form responses are then automatically updated to a Google sheet, which is compared against a list of expected attendees. If an expected attendee is absent, the bot sends an email notification to them. Additionally, the bot sends a summary email to the organizer, including attendance details and the names of those who were absent.

My attendance bot was created using Google Apps Script, which is a scripting language that allows you to automate tasks across Google products. The bot uses Google Forms to collect attendee information, Google Sheets to store the data, and Google Mail to send automated notifications.
To make the bot work seamlessly, we used Google App Script triggers, which enable the bot to perform tasks at specific times or when certain events occur. For example, the bot is triggered after an event ends to send absence notifications to attendees and a summary email to the organizer.
