Below is an alphabetical list of the community colleges' foundations. These foundations offer scholarships open to their students outside of financial aid.

Open from early December to early February every year.
Grand Rapids Community College Foundation
Note the external opportunities linked toward the bottom of the webpage.
Open from December 1 to March 1.
Open from January 1 to March 31 every year. Some on rolling basis.
Kalamazoo Valley Community College Foundation
Application periods are located in the Kalamazoo Valley Scholarship Brochure and are typically promoted in April/October for the fall and winter semesters.
An email will be sent to all registered students when the Financial Aid Office is promoting scholarships.
Kellogg Community College Foundation
Open from December 1 to March. Currently open until July 31, 2025.

Lake Michigan College Foundation
Open from December 1 to August.
More consideration given to applications submitted from December 1 to March 1 (priority deadline).
Lansing Community College Foundation

Typically open from November 1 to January 31.
Monroe County Community College Scholarships
Able to choose filter saying that you are currently “ineligible for other sources of federal or state financial aid.”
Typically opens December 1 to March every year.
Montcalm Community College Foundation
Note that some require or highly encourage the completion of the FAFSA, which is stated.

While many require a FAFSA to be completed, some do not.
March 1 is priority deadline, but many scholarships do not have a deadline (likely accepted on rolling basis).
Typically opens in the first week of January and go throughout the year.
Oakland Community College Foundation
Open and accepted on rolling basis.
Schoolcraft College Foundation
Opens March 2025 for 2025-26 academic year. Check annually after January 31.
