History
I have taught at and worked for independent studios, Life Time, and Equinox. Most recently, I worked for Boot Ranch, a residential golf community and country club. As of May 2026, I now live in St. Louis, Missouri.
I began learning martial arts in my teens and continued to do so in my twenties, even living in Japan to study under a Japanese teacher. I left martial arts due to the focus on violence and the high incidence of injury. I took up yoga practice in 2011. I loved it and so undertook yoga teacher training. I began teaching fitness in 2012 as an independent instructor at various studios and gyms, even to the employees and dancers of the Houston Ballet.
In 2017, I became a personal trainer while working for Equinox River Oaks. In 2018, I began working for Life Time City Centre as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, where I found great success in both roles. In 2020, the Coronavirus Pandemic closed the gyms, so my wife and I moved to the countryside of the Texas Hill Country. In 2021, I began working for Boot Ranch, a residential golf community for wealthy retirees. I was eventually promoted to the manager of the fitness facility. However, it was time to look for new and greater opportunities, so we moved to St. Louis in 2026.
