Dirk Vis (1981) publishes essays, screenplays, poetry, and true-to-life science fiction in various media. Vis studied Image & Language (BA) at the Rietveld Academy and Graphic Design (MA) at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam. He has published in limited editions Bestseller (2009), the e-novella The reality-essay ( De_Gids , 2017) and the (anti-)manual for artistic research Research for People Who (Think They) Would Rather Create (Onomatopee, 2021). He presented various lectures, performances and chapbooks for leading institutions and events. His essays have been translated into English and German. Vis is a teacher and researcher at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam and supervises artistic research at the Royal Academy of the Arts in The Hague. He is also the writing editor of the literary magazine De_Gids and co-founder of De_Internet_Gids. Vis lives in Amsterdam, Berlin and the primeval forest of Białowieża.
Nimisha is the Visual Arts Librarian at Smith College in Massachusetts where she supports research, reference, and instruction for art disciplines. With a background in museums and art + design schools, she's passionate about helping students make connections between art, landscape, and information.
George Cwirko-Godycki currently resides in Florida and occasionally travels for workshops, exhibitions, and projects involving screen printing, custom apparel & accessories, sketch crawls, product design, and anything he can wrap his hands on. (Always by consulting Nymbis the iggy, his loyal concept oracle, of course.)
