My name is Luke Wardrip. I'm a Junior at Miami University (OH) pursuing my degree in Biochemistry. After my undergraduate, I intend to go to medical school and continue research as an M.D. For me, research is a way to apply our scientific understanding to solve real-world problems.
I have been a member of Dr. Gary Lorigan's research group for the past five semesters, focusing on the structure and conformation of various membrane-bound proteins. This research aims to identify new drug-binding sites for bacterial and viral infections.
