Career Skills

Here are some career skills I gained and improved on as a part of this experience:

• Technology

  • Learned how to create and distribute Qualtrics surveys.

  • Became familiar with archival organization and how to conduct archival research. 

• Equity & Inclusion

  • Became IRB credentialed

  • Purposefully sought out more diverse views and questioned archival absences 

• Critical Thinking

  • Analyzed a variety of sources

  • Considering and accounting for potential confounding factors in the survey population as much as possible

• Communication

  • Worked persistently to remedy miscommunications with supervisors 

  • Presented and explained work to a variety of audiences
