At Miami University, Caitlin studied Comparative Religion & Computer Science. Her coursework and classmates interested her in interrogating questions of whose voices are represented in scholarship and what these disparities imply about the current knowledge body of religious studies. While she draws the question to her field, her work gestures to the fact this a broader question about the proper role of research in humanities. 

Following her May 2025 graduation, she plans to attend the University of Washington with the aim of earning a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS).
