Through this research, I feel I have developed myself and my career by building relationships with faculty members and through organizations. I have learned how to seek and embrace development opportunities and make a point to participate in further education, training, or other events related to my future career. I have also developed an understanding of situational context and logical analysis of relevant information throughout the process of my research. I feel as though I have improved my ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas, recognizing the diverse perspectives of readers and fellow scholars. Through this, I have learned to seek out and leverage diverse resources and feedback from others to inform direction -- using innovative thinking to go beyond traditional methods, especially as a student whose research differs in topic and method from the majority of those around me and in the HASS program.
