August 24-25, 2024

The chapter officer team spent the weekend collaborating and planning activities for the upcoming school year as well as establishing goals for the chapter!

September 4, 2024

The first general meeting of the school year! The chapter officers hosted all members and their parents and gave them the opportunity to see what the FFA was about and who we are as Morgan Hill FFA!

September 9-15, 2024

Morgan Hill FFA members had the opportunity of taking their SAE projects to the Santa Cruz County Fair and displaying their hard work and complete against other showmen. 

October 2, 2024

This meeting, the chapter officer team hosted a contest where members decorated pumpkins that we will deliver to Nordstrom Elementary school! This allowed the Chapter Officers to talk to kindergarteners about the FFA and the opportunities they have through the organization when they get to high school!

October 12-13, 2024

The chapter officer team traveled to Hollister for the annual Chapter Officer Leadership Conference. This two day conference gave the officer team the opportunity to grow as a team and gain valuable leadership skills that they can bring back and implement in the chapter!

October 15, 2024

Nine freshmen traveled down to the Mid State Fairgrounds in Paso Robles. These individuals had the opportunity to learn more about the FFA and how they can get involved in the organization!

October 17, 2024

Morgan Hill FFA had six teams compete in the Santa Clara Sectional Opening & Closing Ceremonies Contest, hosted right here at Live Oak High School. Morgan Hill FFA won high team for all three categories; Officer, Open, and Greenhand! Congratulations to all that participated!

November 6, 2024

For the month of November, the chapter officers planned a meeting for the books! They incorporated all activities the embody fall; pumpkin pie eating contests, turkey target practice, and bobbing for apples! We also held a canned food drive, all donations were donated to the local food pantry!

December 4th,2024

On December 2nd our chapter officers hosted Morgan Hill FFA's last meeting for the semester! To end the semester with a bang we decided to let everyone who had come out to spend their evening with us. Can't wait to see y'all for January's meeting.

December 5th,2024

The Santa Clara Section hosted a Santa Clara section movie night! All 5 chapters went to Gilroy Highschool on the 5th to connect all together. There were games like cornhole, and in the background the grinch was playing. Thank you for all the Morgan Hill FFA Members that went!

December 7th,2024

During the month of December, Morgan Hill hosted their Annual Christmas parade on December 7th. As an organization our Chapter officer team worked together to create an amazing float to show off at the parade! We saw many members in the crowd and definitely had one of the best floats! Thank you to everyone who helped put the float together and joined walking!

January 9th,2025

Morgan Hill FFA had their own game night on January 8th at 6pm. We had over 60 members come and listen to our new and old business and of course participating in our game night. For game night we had jeopardy then a guess the drink for the two winning teams!

January 10th-11th,2025

Twenty Morgan Hill FFA members spent Sunday and Monday at our regions MFE/ALA conferences in Monterey! Students mingled with other chapters, participated in workshops, worked together to plan for chapter involvement and improvement. We ended the conference by visiting Cannery row!

January 25th, 2025

Morgan Hill FFA had twenty-two members go to "Super Saturday" at Hollister High school this past weekend to compete in public speaking competitions! Morgan Hill FFA walked away with TEN qualified public speakers for Regionals and a top 3 placing in nearly every category!!

February 5th,2025

February 12th,2025

We had 12 of our Morgan Hill FFA members have the opportunity to go to THE "World AG Expo". These members got to talk to different colleges, as well as Ag related companies. Well, there our members stopped at Rosa brothers on the way home for amazing home-grown milk and ice cream!

February 14th,2025

We held our annual Ag Olympics on the 14th this year. We had a handful of teachers come out and participate in our obstacle course. Participants had to "walk a pig" Find a penny in a haystack, lasso a bull, walking with an egg on a spoon, and for the grand finale we had hurdle jumps!

March 5th,2025

On March 5th we had our march general meeting! At this meeting we had our own leprechaun scavenger hunt. Members worked together to find our "leprechaun" and it definitely connected our members closer together. It was a great meeting for it being one of our last!

March 20th,2025

Morgan Hill FFA did Vertical Riase Again this year, and we exceeded our goal! We raised 27k! Huge shout out to those who have made this a huge success!

April 2nd,2025

For Morgan Hill FFA's last general meeting of the year we held an amazing easter egg hunt including a quick game of would you rather. We are so sad for this year to end but we in fact ended up having an amazing year. Stay tuned for next year's general meetings with our 2025–2026-chapter officers!

April 3-7th,2025

April 3-7th we had 17 members attended! we sat through 7 different sessions and forged our future! We traveled all the way to Sacramento we got to visit Hilmar cheese factory including floral fresh floral market! State conference was a great experience for all our members and can't wait to go next year in Ontario!

Our 22nd annual event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with friends, family and community members while supporting our amazing, agriculture students that attend both Live Oak and Ann Sobrato High Schools. Thank you for attending this fun event and helping support our Agriculture seniors!
