Welcome!!

Welcome to Most Holy Redeemer School. I’m glad you chose our school for your child. 

I’m looking forward to being your child’s teacher this year and I would like to introduce myself. 

My name is Karen Schwer. I grew up in Evergreen Park and I still reside in this great town. A fun fact is that my husband’s family members are the first settlers in Evergreen. I have belonged to St. Gianna Parish (formerly Queen of Martyrs) since I was born. I have two adult sons. One son is married and has two children, so I am a Grandma. I have a granddaughter and grandson and they live in Wisconsin. 

This is my 29th year at MHR. When I first started at MHR I assisted in Kindergarten for 3 years while my boys were young. Then I moved to first grade and have been loving teaching this grade for all these years.
