About the Teacher:
Born and raised in Chicago's St. Symphorosa's Parish and School. I graduated from St. Laurence High School, and pursued my art degree at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. I was soon working at an illustration and design studio where I created artwork for advertising, design firms, corporations, and publishing for a few years before attending the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. I established my own illustration studio upon my return to Chicago, focusing on illustration projects for entertainment and publishing (including children's books). I began pairing my art practice with education and began teaching at the American Academy of Art, Benedictine University, and the International School of Comics. After teaching childrens art workshops at area libraries, and Southwest School in EP, I was invited to begin teaching here at MHR.
For schoolwide policies, please refer to the MHR Family Handbook.
