All in-district students must fill out the online registration information and provide a birth certificate and proof of residency. Online registration for incoming 9th graders will open on December 11th. Students who are not registered by the February 1st deadline may not be scheduled for their first-choice electives or may experience a delay in obtaining transportation. Students who plan to apply for the in-district lottery must first register at the school indicated by their address and also fill out an in-district lottery application by February 1st in order to be considered.
District residents typically attend the high school designated by their address within our four sending communities. Every year, the Board of Education makes a limited number of seats available for 8th-grade students to switch high schools through the in-district lottery process. More information can be found by clicking on the link above. Please note that the In-District Lottery is only for residents of Denville, Rockaway Borough, Rockaway Township, or Wharton and can only be applied to during the student's 8th-grade year.
