JSA stands for Junior Statesman of America

The Junior Statesman of America is the largest student-run high school organization in America. It is filled with members that are interested in politics, government, debate, the law, and education. What is so special about JSA is that students organize every aspect of it, from the school chapter level to national administration. Junior State members also take part in three exciting overnight conventions: Spring State, Congress, and Fall State. Junior State conventions allow for an exchange of ideas through student participation in debates, thought tasks, problem solving, and open forum discussions.
